Assessing Blair’s Legacy

Tony Blair has so dominated British politics for the past decade that now, only a day since he announced his impending departure, it is hard to conclusively determine his legacy. The National Review have asked a distinguished panel from both sides of the Atlantic (including the editor of this site) to give their assessment of the Blair years, and where it has left Britain. It will not make happy reading for Tony Blair; he came to office with aspirations that have not been met and leaves all those concerned with a strong and prosperous Britain (which includes most of the panellists) anxious for the future of our country.
